Rafale Deal: Reliance files defamation suit against National Herald

The Reliance Group, under Anil Ambani, has filed a Rs 5,000 crore defamation suit against the ‘National Herald’, owned by the Congress, claiming an article published in the newspaper was derogatory. The civil defence suit was filed against the Associate Journals Limited, the publisher of the National Herald, its editor in charge Zafar Agha, and author of the article- Vishwadeepak by Reliance Defence, reliance Infrastructure and Reliance Aerostructure which belongs to the Reliance Group under Anil Ambani.
