Ranveer Singh’s Simmba is slated to release in December 2018.

Ranveer Singh is excited about being the leading man in Simmba as this is his first official ‘in and as’ role, and that too in a Rohit Shetty film. So when the actor shared new little something on Twitter from the film, and announced that his film will release in December, he did it in Rohit Shetty’s classic style. The actor captioned the picture, “This December...WOMAN POWER...ROHIT SHETTY ISHHHHTYLE!!! #SaraAliKhan #RohitShetty @karanjohar @DharmaMovies @RelianceEnt @rspicturez @SimmbaTheFilm.”

The women empowerment that the actor is talking is the women in the picture who are dressed in traditional Maharashtrian clothes. The women are on their motorbikes and flashing headlights at us while in the background, orange flags are waving. Ranveer is seen seated on a white jeep and the actor is also wearing a bright orange shirt.

Simmba will also mark the debut of Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan. She plays the leading lady in the film, inspired by hit Telugu film, Temper starring Jr NTR in the lead role. The film is directed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and that makes it the second promising debut of the year after Janhvi Kapoor was introduced in Bollywood last month with Dhadak.

Ranveer is also working on Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, in which the actor will be seen opposite Alia Bhatt. He is also the leading man in Karan Johar’s directorial titled Takht in which he will share screen space with Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor, and others.
