Bhupesh Baghel and his team of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee have been given free hand by the All India Congress Committee Chief Rahul Gandhi for taking decisions for the upcoming Assembly polls”, said veteran Congress leader of the State and newly appointed AICC General Secretary (Administration) Motilal Vora.

Speaking to media persons here on his arrival at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Vora said the AICC has full faith in CGPCC and any decision regarding the elections would need only its formal approval. All the major decisions including that of making alliance with other parties would be taken at state level itself, he said.

Commenting on mobile handsets distribution by the State government, the Congress leader said it would not be worth and will fail to woo the voters as they (voters) know very well that it’s an election time.

“The people of the State very well know the intentions of the government behind it”, he added.

Vora also expressed his apprehension on the outbreak of dengue at his home town Durg and said the government should take the matter more seriously and should take more effective steps to combat the outbreak.
