Goa: Ashes of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee immersed

Ashes of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee were immersed in River Mandovi in Panji. The occasion was attended by the Union Minister of State for Ayush, Shripad Naik along with several other state BJP leaders. Other two urns of the former PM’s ashes were brought to Goa and ashes were finally immersed in two major rivers of Goa namely Mhadei and Zuari. Also a procession was also taken out across Goa. People paid their last respect to former PM Vajpayee. Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee died on 16 August, 2018 in Delhi. He was not keeping well for sometime. His cremation was held in Delhi's Smriti Sthal near Yamuna Bank.
