ALLAHABAD:
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) would conduct screening test to fill 1,140 vacant posts of
homeopathic and
Ayurvedic medical officers on September 30. The Commission has also introduced minus marking in the exam, slated to be organised in two shifts, in several examination centres at Allahabad and Lucknow.
The screening test for AMOs would be conducted from 9.30 am to 11.30 am while that of HMOs would be held from 2.30 to 4.30 pm. Ayurvedic medicos are competing for 544 posts while homeopaths for 596 vacancies. The final selections would be depend on the performance of candidates in interviews.
Secretary, UPPSC, Jagdish, said 150 objective questions would be asked in the examination. Each question would be of one mark. Similarly, 30 questions out of total would be from general studies while remaining would cover the entire field of study. For every wrong answer one-third or 0.33 marks would be deducted.
He said the only those candidates who have completed the eligibility criteria till the last date of submitting online application of June 18, 2018 should sit in the exams.
