KURNOOL: “We will not spare all those who have betrayed us by denying the bifurcation benefits, particularly the special category status. We will show what Telugu pride is,” said chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

Addressing a public meeting of Dharma Porata Deeksha here on Saturday, the chief minister took the BJP to target in hitting hard for doing injustice to the state. “You have promised special category status during the elections at Tirupati. You have promised to implement the AP Reorganization Act in letter and spirit at Amaravati. But, after the elections you have gone back on the promises and betrayed us,” Chandrababu Naidu said without naming Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“The benefits were promised in the Parliament. You have brought the soil from Parliament and water from river Ganga promising to help us after bifurcation. But you have betrayed us by denying all the benefits,” the Chief Minister said.

He said he had taken several development initiatives on one hand while fighting for the benefits from the Central government on the other hand. “The special category status and other benefits are our rights and there is no charity. We will continue to fight with the Central government until every promise and every provision of the Act is implemented,” he said.

He accused the BJP leadership of colluding with the "corrupt" YSR Congress to do injustice to the State. He also blamed the Opposition YSR Congress for colluding with the BJP which had done injustice to the State. He said that the YSR Congress chief Jaganmohan Reddy was mortgaging the interests of the state just to get out of the CBI cases.

Chandrababu Naidu said that he would continue his fight against the betrayers and conspirators exposing everyone and their betrayal to the state.
