Ian Edwards, owner of The Blind Chef Bistro at Boolaroo Bowling Club. Ian was excelling in his career as a chef in the Hunter region until 2015 when his life changed and he become legally blind, gave up working in a commercial kitchen and driving. A phone call to Newcastle University directed him to ALNSW who supported his goal to help vision-impaired people to pursue culinary careers.
