LFW Day 3: Disha Patani, Janhvi Kapoor and others sizzle

On day three of Lakme Fashion week Winter Festive 2018 Bollywood celebrities like Huma Qureshi, Disha Patani, Janhvi Kapoor and others marked their presence. Janhvi Kapoor, on the third day of the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), made her showstopper debut. And Huma Qureshi raised the issues like like female empowerment and gender equality. The 32-year-old actor said women are still objectified and expected to be “corseted” to match up to the beauty standards set up by the society.

Com-modification of women still persists. They are still expected to be very prim and proper and corseted to look a certain way. The idea behind this is that we are suppose to dress up for male gaze. We are not supposed to dress up for ourselves.
