To the tune of a minimum of $54 000 (R770 000) after the 21-year-old qualified for his maiden Grand Slam at this year's US Open at Flushing Meadows, starting in the Big Apple on Monday.
Harris came through the qualifying rounds to book his spot in the 128-man main draw at the year's final Grand Slam.
Harris' reward will be a first round clash against veteran 33-year-old Frenchman, Gilles Simon.
Should he fall at the first hurdle, Harris will have $54 000 reasons to smile in a season where he's improved his ATP Tour ranking to a current career high 145th.
However, a victory would see the likeable Capetonian bank at least $93 000 (R1.325 million).
The eventual winner will take home a staggering $3 800 000 (R54 million).
