Konkan Board of MHADA has declared the results of lottery for over 9,000 houses at MHADA’s headquarter in Bandra. The lottery was organised by Konkan Board of MHADA and also has homes under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) scheme. The lottery was declared by State Cabinet Minister for Housing Department Prakash Mehta and Education Minister Vindod Tawde. According to reports, Ranjani Vyas became the first winner of Konkan board lottery.
The lottery includes Thane, Virar, Kalyan, Ambernath, Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri areas. It is the biggest housing lottery by the housing authority of the state where 9,018 homes are put on sale, while close to 56,000 applications have been received. Over 10 per cent of the homes haven’t found any takers. It is an online lottery.
