NEW DELHI:
Delhi University Students’ Union polls will be conducted on September 12, 2018. The election schedule for the central panel of DUSU and college union elections was announced by the Delhi University administration on Saturday evening. However, the dates(s) for counting and announcement of results has not yet been decided. Along with the declaration of the election schedule, the code of conduct for the polls also gets underway.
According to the press statement issued by the university the last date for filing of the nominations along with demand drags of ₹ 500 and affidavit is September 4, 2018. The scrutiny and announcement of the list of candidates will also take place on September 4, 2018.
Candidates can withdraw their candidate till 12 noon of September 5, 2018. The final list of candidates will be announced the same day at 5 pm but the DUSU election office.
On September 12, 2018 the elections on the morning colleges will be conducted from 8 am to 1 pm. In the evening colleges it will be conducted from 3 pm to 7.30 pm.
Nomination papers for the DUSU central panel will be submitted with the office of the election officer, and for the College union and central council with the concerned college/ department.
