Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president N Uttam Kumar Reddy today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was creating confusion over holding early Assembly elections in the state.
"KCR and his family are enacting dramas every day on early polls. They are making new announcements every day, thus trying to create confusion. Their tactics will not work.
Congress is ready to face elections even if they are heldtomorrow. Victory is ours and we are forming the next government," a party release quoted Reddy as saying in a tele-conference with party's booth committee presidents.
Reddy claimed that the tall promises and fake assurances made by the TRS government during the last four years has collapsed.
"Fearing that the TRS leaders would now be questioned by people on the streets of Telangana for their failures, KCR is apparently seeking fresh elections, Reddy said.
Legislative Assembly polls in the state are scheduled to be held simultaneously with the Lok Sabha elections next year.
