The main event for this weekend of the Pune monsoon season is framed in the name of Rajaram Chhatrapati Trophy, a race for Class II; H’cap, Indian Horses (rated 60 to 86 ) (40 to 59 eligible, over a distance of 1800m. Zenon, out of Ikhtyar Venus Arising, from the stables of  Vishal Gaikwad, impressed one and all in his last run during the Bangalore Summer season and has this run advantage to his credit over Lord Of The Sea, who is the closest rival to Zenon.  Both seem to have an edge over the other.

The other feature of the day is the Nirmal Ruia Trophy which has a small field of six runners with The Summer Rays being a good bet. Three good bets: Golden Hind (1-2), Iron Age (2-1) and Dazzling Star (6-8).
