A bench of Haryana Human Rights Commission will be set up in Gurugram for speedy disposal of cases and to facilitate people of southern Haryana by holding hearing of cases in their nearby area.
Justice (retd) S K Mittal, the chairman of Haryana Human Rights Commission told reporters here that a bench of the commission will be set up in Gurugram so that the people do not have to go to Chandigarh for hearing.
The commission today conducted hearing of 36 cases, of which 14 were disposed off on the spot.
"So far, court camps have been organised by the commission in three districts -- Palwal, Jhajjar and Hisar. The next camp would be organised in Sonipat," he said.
'Bal Sudhaar Grehs', old age homes and other such organisations running in all districts would be monitored and inspected, for which, a state-level committee had been constituted, he said.
