By sheer coincidence, the judgment in the 2007 twin bomb blasts at Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park that rocked the city would be pronounced on Monday, two days after the eleventh anniversary of the incident that claimed 44 lives and left 65 injured.
Most of the injured persons and families of those who had lost lives in the blasts are unable to come out of the trauma and many claim that the scars of the blasts are still fresh in their minds.
Saturday marks the 11th anniversary of the twin blasts and victims and their family members are waiting for judgment, which would be pronounced on Monday.
Four alleged Indian Mujahideen (IM) operatives, Mohammed Sadiq, Ansar Ahmed Badhsah Sheikh, Akbar Ismail Choudhary and Anique Shafiq Syed, involved in the blasts are lodged at Cherlapally central prison.
Recalling the fateful evening, Syed Raheem, a painter from Saidabad who lost his left eye in Gokul Chat bomb blast, demanded severe punishment to the accused.
