Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has promised that a hall with all facilities would be built to enable the photographers and artists display their works.
He was addressing the photojournalists after going around the photography exhibition, put up by the Visakha Photo Journalists Association here on Thursday, marking the World Photography Day, here
When lensmen pointed out that that a hall was lacking for the purpose, the Chief Minister promised to take up the issue and that he would ask the officials to conduct a survey so that a hall could be built.
Appreciating the photographers, he said that the photographs on display were highly creative and informative. “You are blessed to work in a beautiful city of Vizag and you have the ability to showcase the city to the world through your frames,” he said. The CM spent time in going through all 150 frames exhibited at the expo.
Vizagites lauded
He appreciated the pictures that depicted the city pre and post Hudhud. “This shows the fighting spirit of Vizagites who put the city back on the tracks,” he said.
