City professionals donate a day’s salary

City professionals from various organisations donated their one day’s salary to the victims of Kerala flood with the support of city-based non-governmental organisation OSMO Foundation.

OSMO Foundation sent relief material on behalf of society to the victims of Kerala in collaboration with Akhil Bharatiya Malyalee Sangh. The relief material was transported to Kerala in a truck with the help of the Sangh.

President SK Menon appreciated the efforts of professionals and asks people to support flood victims of Kerala. Since, Kerala has suffered huge loss due to natural calamity, OSMO Foundation has provided this relief material in the form of raw items which included seven boxes of biscuits (1008 numbers), five boxes of snacks (1008 packets), two boxes of bath soap (576 pieces), two boxes of washing bars (576 pieces), one box each of shampoo and hair oil (1,000 sachets each), two boxes of rice (60 kg), one box each of dal (25 kg), sanitary pads (840 pieces) and baby diaper (216 pieces) and 10 boxes of water bottles (240 bottles).

Youngsters from Bhopal supported flood victims as per their capability. They started their campaign with the help of social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. OSMO Foundation has requested every citizen to support victims as much as possible. On this occasion, Varun Chaturvedi, Vinay Choudhary, Sumeet Golwalkar, Atul Pathak and Akshay Bajpai along with their volunteers were present.
