Tiverton's Bliss church to show 'Torchbearer'

TIVERTON — Bliss Four Corners Congregational Church at 1264 Stafford Road announced the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, Aug. 26, will be conducted by Pastor David McPherson of Quincy as guest speaker. The music ministry is led by Choir Director Natalie Piscani with Francesco Piscani on violin. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m.. All are welcome to join in a fellowship reception after the service hosted by Ramona Stanley.

There will be a special showing of the movie "Torchbearer" by Phil Robertson at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 26. Some snacks will be available. Feel free to bring your own.

Ladies Aid will meet Tuesday to plan the upcoming yard sale on Sept. 1, and the family picnic on Sept. 9.

The weekly Bible study and prayer meeting is at 6 p.m. at a private house; come to church Sunday to find out where.

The Bliss Youth Group (ages 13+) will meet Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the church hall.
