25-year-old businessman robbed of car at gunpoint

In another shocking incident of robbery and snatching, a 25-year-old businessman was allegedly robbed of his car at gunpoint by four unidentified men in Shalimar Bagh.

According to the police, the incident took place in front of a supermarket in Shalimar Bagh in the early hours on 19 August when the victim Amit Malhotra and his friend were seated inside the car and four men arrived there and pointed gun at the victim,” said a police official.  

“The victim in his complaint said that one of the accused threatened to shoot Malhotra if he and his friend did not step out of the car following which he along with his friend came out of the car. The accused snatched his phone and fled with his car from the spot,” said a police official.

“We have registered a case and the entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed nearby the crime spot. We are trying to identify the accused,” said a police official.
