Men armed with screwdrivers robbed the Kambah IGA

Police are calling for witnesses after two men allegedly stole cash, cigarettes and other tobacco-related products in an aggravated robbery in Kambah.

ACT Policing said two men armed with screwdrivers threatened staff at the IGA supermarket on Castley Circuit about 8pm on Wednesday, before fleeing with the items.

The men got into a car parked a short distance away and drove off at speed.

Police said no one was injured.

Both men were wearing balaclava-type garments, dark tops and gloves.

Their car was described as a white, older model ute with a steel tray and yellow NSW registration plates.
