Mumbai, Aug 23 (PTI) Nickel prices weakened at the non-ferrous metals market here today on stockists' selling and lower demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, copper utensils, copper sheet cuttings, brass, aluminium utensils and zinc slipped owing to subdued demand from consuming industries.
While, copper cable scrap and copper billets were trading marginally up due to good demand from industrial users.
Nickel eased by Rs 10 to Rs 980 per kg from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 990.
Copper utensils and aluminium utensils slid by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 417 and Rs 125 as against Rs 420 and Rs 128, respectively yesterday.
Copper sheet cuttings edged down by Rs 2 to Rs 443 per kg from Rs 445.
Brass utensils scrap, brass sheet cuttings and zinc softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 340, Rs 351 and Rs 216, respectively.
