Crucial Cong election panel meet tomorrow

A crucial meeting of Election Committee of State unit of the Congress party is going to be held at its Office at Rajiv Bhawan here on Friday.

Ahead of polls, the meeting will also discuss and scrutinise the names of contenders for the Assembly polls which are to be sent to AICC for formal approval.

The meeting would be chaired by Chairman of the Election Committee Bhupesh Baghel while veteran leader and AICC General Secretary (Administration), Motilal Vora, Chhattisgarh In-charge of AICC PL Punia, Secretaries In-Charge Chandan Yadav and Arun Uraon, members of the Committee, Leader of Opposition T.S. Singhdeo, Former Union Minister Charandas Mahant, Former CGPCC Chief Dhanendra Sahu, former ministers Ravindra Chaubey, Satyanarayan Sharma, Mohammed Akbar, Devti Karma, Working President of CGPCC, Ramdayal Uikey and Shiv Kumar Daharia would specially be present in the meeting. In this extended meeting Morcha Chiefs had also been invited, party sources informed.
