FALL RIVER — The Fall River Irish Heritage Association has announced the four recipients of the 2018 Grant to Aid awards:

Lisa Correira, daughter of Shirley Coury. Lisa is currently working at Saint Anne’s Hospital in the Pathology Department. She will be attending Siena Heights University in the fall to achieve her bachelor's degree.

Troy Mattos, grandson of F. Marie Mattos. Troy recently graduated from Somerset Berkley Regional High School, where he was an active member of the varsity tennis and soccer teams. He will attend Wheaton College in the fall. Troy plans to pursue a degree in business along with mathematics and economics.

Lauryn Novo, daughter of Donna Novo. Lauryn is currently attending Roger Williams College University pursuing a degree in graphic design and communications. Lauryn remains active in her church, St. Louis deFrance.

Dominic Robidoux, grandson of Ken McGovern. Dominic recently graduated from Barrington High School. Dominic will be attending Fairfield University in the fall pursuing a degree in psychology.

Since the inception of the program, the Irish Heritage has awarded $34,500 to college-bound students.
