Ujjain: Exhibition Bus creates awareness on environment protection


Ujjain: Children Science Centre, Indore, along with Environment Protection and coordination Organisation (EPCO) has undertaken an environmental protection awareness campaign in religious and tourist places. In this context an exhibition bus, containing ecological models and posters of ways to protect environment and biodiversity reached the city on Wednesday to create mass awareness.

Exhibition coordinator Rajendra Singh and NGC Eco Club in-charge Brajesh Sharma said that thousand of devotes visit the city on regular basis. They use plastic bags and polythene to carry stuffs which has a negative impact on environment.

This exhibition will help in spreading messages like stopping use of poly bags, use of separate dustbins for dry and wet waste, mobile toilets near river and regular cleaning of river. It is an initiative to bring a positive change in the outlook of citizens towards the environment, Singh said.


The exhibition bus was parked near Harsiddhi temple where Sunil Singh, Rekha Arya, Vishakha Bhadauriya, Rekha Singh, Satyendra Singh, Sachin Panwar, Anil Kanojiya and Gourav Singh told citizens about the awareness campaign.
