Noida: Days after an additional district magistrate in UP was booked for assaulting a
retired colonel, another video has surfaced which shows the son of the ADM, his wife and their friend hitting the cook working at the Army veteran’s house as well as a youth visiting him to train before applying to the Army.
The minute-long CCTV footage from the society shows the youth, who belongs to Azamgarh, having an argument with the son of the ADM. The ADM’s son can be seen holding a bat in his hand and pushing the youth. In the background, the ADM’s friend, a property dealer, can be seen hitting the youth while his wife is seen talking on the phone.
She also can be seen having an argument with the youth and later pushing him too.
The video ends with the youth talking to the ADM’s friend. The other footage preceeding the clash and those after it are yet to be released.
“This youth was preparing for a written exam in Nashik on August 23. After I was arrested, they were pulled out from the house and were beaten up by the ADM’s wife and others,” the retired colonel said.
The father of the youth, a retired havildar, who too was present in a press briefing on Wednesday, said his son was only 21 years old. He said they spoiled his son’s life.
The retired colonel said he had sought time from the CM to meet him and seek action against ADM and others involved in the case. “There should be an investigation in the properties they hold here in Noida, Greater Noida and Aligarh. It has come to light that the ADM’s wife is on bail in a property-related case,” he alleged.
The ADM’s garage has been converted into a room, he said. “A water tank was installed at the top of the garage. I complained about it to the Noida Authority at least four times and then, on July 23, Authority officials came and removed the water tank,” the colonel said.
Meanwhile, SSP Ajay Pal Sharma on Wednesday issued a second transfer order to the circle officer and the inspector involved in the case.
While then circle officer 1 Amit Kumar was transferred to Dadri as circle officer on Friday, Sector 20 SHO Manish Saxena was transferred to Surajpur after the arrest of the Army veteran attracted bad press.
On Wednesday, Kumar was again transferred as circle officer (office) while Saxena was sent to the police lines.
