PGVCL Recruitment 2018: 104 Vidyut Sahayak application invited, apply now

NEW DELHI: Paschim Gujarat Vij Co. Limited (PGVCL) has invited the application for the post of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Assistant). The PGVCL will recruit 104 Junior Assistants through this recruitment drive.

The candidates who wish to apply for the post can visit the official website of the company - www.pgvcl.com - to know more about the vacancy.

To be eligible to apply for this post, the candidates should have Graduation Degree from recognised university. The upper age limit to apply for the post is 30 years as on August 23, 2018. There is Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

The submission of application form will start from August 23, 2018, and the last date to apply for the post is September 12, 2018.

The mode of the examination will be either Online or OMR mode depending on the number of candidates registered. The PGVCL will notify on the mode of exam.

The exam paper will be comprised of following sections:

Section - I General Knowledge 10%
Section - II English Language 20%
Section - III Maths & General Science 15%
Section - IV Analytic & Logical Reasoning 15%
Section - V Computer knowledge 20%
Section - VI Gujarati Language 20%

The candidates should note that the question paper will be set in English & Gujarati language only.

The question paper for the exam shall be consisting of 100 questions with one mark for each correct answer. Also, 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
