Nikon Z6, Z7 full frame mirrorless cameras launched along with Nikkor Z lens and Z mount system

Japanese electronics firm Nikon has unveiled a range of new products that include Nikkor Z lens, Nikon Z mount system, and Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z7 cameras.
To begin with the two new cameras launched, Z 7 and Z 6 come equipped with a new backside illumination, Nikon FX-format CMOS sensor with focal-plane phase-detection AF pixels, and the latest image-processing engine, EXPEED 6.
The Nikon Z 7 comes with a 45.7 megapixels sensor and supports a sensitivity range of ISO 64-25600. The Z 6, on the other hand, features a 24.5 megapixel sensor and supports wide range of ISO 100-51200 standard sensitivities. The Z 6 comes with 4K UHD movie recording with full pixel readout.
Both Z 6 and Z 7 has focal point of 273 and 493 respectively and provide coverage of upto 90% of the imaging area both horizontally and vertically. This hybrid AF system uses an algorithm optimized for the FX-format sensor.
The two cameras are also equipped with the new EXPEED 6 image-processing engine and offer 20 options of Creative Picture Control, supporting creative imaging expression. The effect level is adjustable from 0 to 100.
An approximately 3690k-dot OLED panel has been adopted for electronic viewfinder of both the cameras. The electronic viewfinder has frame coverage and magnification of approximately 100% and 0.8x respectively, as well as an approximately 37.0° diagonal viewing angle.
The newly launched Z mount system is said to consist mirrorless cameras featuring a new, larger-diameter mount, and compatible Nikkor Z lenses and accessories. In a statement the company said that the Z mount system will offer a variety of high-performance lenses, including the fastest lens in Nikon history, with f/0.95 aperture.
Additionally, the firm announced three new lenses compatible with the Nikon Z mount system's full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras. The three new lenses are the standard zoom Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 S, the wide-angle prime Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S, and the standard prime Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8 S. All three are interchangeable lenses.
The Nikkor Z 58mm f/0.95 S Noct is claimed by the firm to be the fastest lens in Nikon's history and has a focal-length range from wide-angle 24mm to medium-telephoto 70mm. Nikkor Z 35mm f/1.8 S lens is said to offer sharp resolution and comes with nano crystal coat to suppress ghost and flare.
Lastly, the Nikkor Z 50mm f/1.8 S features include superior rendering, two ED glass elements, and two spherical lens elements.
As for the pricing is concerned, the Nikon Z7 comes at $3,400 (roughly Rs. 2,38,000) for only the body and $4,000 (roughly Rs. 2,80,000) with the 24-70mm f4 lens. The Z6 , on the other hand is priced at $2,000 (roughly Rs. 1,40,000) for the body and $2,600 (roughly Rs. 1,82,000) with the lens.
