Out-of-control fire in South Melbourne building
More than 20 firefighters have rushed to the scene of a blaze at a multi-storey building in South Melbourne.
A Metropolitan Fire Brigade spokesman said there was an out-of-control fire at the building on the corner of Kerr Street and Buckhurst Street in South Melbourne.
They were alerted to the fire at 5.51pm on Thursday.
"It's some sort of warehouse-type building, two or three floors," he said.

"The first are crews arriving have confirmed a fire so just time to attack."
A witness said police at the scene told passers-by to keep moving due to the risk of asbestos.
The plumes of dark smoke can be seen drifting over the CBD.
