Anantara launches new private jet experience
Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has launched the ‘Anantara Private Jet Experience’ – a voyage of discovery around the Maldives, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
Guests can now combine stays at Anantara properties with private jet transportation: Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas and Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort have been linked for the first time.
Thanks to a partnership with bespoke aviation airline MJets, travellers can now curate a tour of the Indian Ocean, embarking in Bangkok, stopping in Sri Lanka and ending in the Maldives.
Larger groups are accommodated in the Gulfstream V, with a three-zone cabin environment for working, dining, entertaining and resting. Amenities include shower facilities, fully reclining beds, entertainment systems and two flight attendants.
The Cessna Citation X accommodates up to eight passengers and is one of the fastest business jets in the world. Features include fully reclining body club seats, entertainment systems and one flight attendant.
Upon touching down at Colombo International airport, guests transition from the runway to a private limousine which stops at Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle on Sri Lanka’s southernmost shore. Activities in Tangalle include Ayurvedic wellness, surfing, personalised spa experiences and cooking classes.
From there, travelers take a seaplane to the 26 atolls of the Maldives and Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas. Here, overwater villas feature two-tiered decks with swinging daybed, dining area and ocean hammocks, and a lower deck with loungers and steps into the lagoon of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
The Anantara Private Jet Experience can be tailored to suit each guests’ individual requirements and scaled to accommodate couples’ celebrations or larger group parties.
