Mumbai, Aug 22 (PTI) Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial rose at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following sustained demand from soaps and shippers industries.
While, refined palmolein softened owing to mild demand from retail buyers.
Linseed oil also eased further due to lower demand from paint and allied industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil ruled steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edibles segment, castor seeds bold moved up by Rs 5 to Rs 4,535 per 100 kg from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 4,530 and castor oil commercial inched up to Rs 937 per 10 kg.
However, linseed oil slid by Rs 3 to Rs 932 per 10 kg as against Rs 935.
Moving to edible section, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 2 to Rs 670 per 10 kg from Rs 672 and groundnut oil closed unchanged to Rs 930 per 10 kg. PTI BPD SHW ADI ADI
