OLM holds meet on financial inclusion, literacy

The Odisha Livelihood Mission (OLM) in association with the Small Scale Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) organised a workshop on ‘Financial Inclusion and Financial Literacy’ here on Monday for the development of financial literacy in the State.

Chief guest OLM State Mission Director and Chief Executive Officer Smruti Ranjan Pradhan discussed about the objectives of the programme and spoke about the process how to increase financial literacy and the future of the programme.

On the occasion, Pradhan unveiled ‘Financial Literacy Training Booklet’ and ‘Financial Inclusion Learning Schedule’ and handover PICCO projectors to APDs and FICs of different blocks of seven districts to display training videos to women in order to inculcate skills among them.

Among others, SIDBI, New Delhi Theme Leader Sonal Jaitley, OLM Assistant CEO Dr Nruparaj Sahoo, Financial Inclusion Advisor Bhuban Mohan Pattanaik and FIC (State) Sampad Kumar Mangaraj were present.
