A special court of Anti-Bureau has sentenced a panchayat sevak to five-year imprisonment for demanding and accepting bribe.

As per the case that was registered with the Anti-Bureau, Palamau, Ram had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a road construction firm to clear its outstanding amount.

The Anti-Bureau officials arrested Ram while he was accepting the bribe on June 22 last year.
