CHENNAI: People travelling in metro trains in Chennai could get themselves a free dental checkup on Saturday.
Chennai Metro Rail Limited (
CMRL), in association with Dr Smilez Dental Centre, is conducting oral health awareness camps at 10 metro stations on August 25.
The camps will be held at AG-DMS, Saidapet,
Alandur, Ekkattuthangal, Ashok Nagar, Vadapalani, Thirumangalam, Shenoy Nagar, Nehru Park and Central Metro. Both metro rail passengers as well as members of the public could get themselves checked for free.
People can get screened for bleeding of gums, oral soft tissues, tooth decay, bad breath and others. Smile evaluation, diet counselling and brushing techniques demonstration will also be part of the camps.
