PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah hand over Vajpayee's ashes to state BJP chiefs

PM Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah handed over the urns containing ashes of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee to bjp chiefs of all states. The urns was kept at the old BJP headquarters on Ashoka Road in the capital for people to pay respects. The former PM was very attached to the old BJP headquarters where he would meet party leaders. The state bjp chiefs will take out processions in their states with the ashes and immerse it in various holy rivers of their states.
