As many as four persons were arrested on Thursday for the alleged illegal possession of antelope horns.
According to a press release, the police stopped a car at Linet Bypass Junction in the Puttur City police station limits and found two horns of antelopes in the vehicle. The accused had allegedly brought the horns from Ajekar in Karkala and had planned to sell it to few persons in Puttur.
The police have given the names of the accused as Shailu, 26, Saji A.K., 40, Sandeep, 29, and Sajith Ibrahim, 32.
