This fall’s videogame release slate is loaded tight with shooters. That may prove to be a bit too much action for some game publishers.
Over three violent weeks in mid-October the industry will launch: Activision Blizzard’s “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4,” Electronic Arts’ “Battlefield V” and Take-Two Interactive’s “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The following month will see “Fallout ’76” from privately held publisher Bethesda Softworks.
