New Paper Discusses How the Mahola Project Leverages Cockpit in their Development of a Regional Healthcare System
LEXINGTON, Mass. (PRWEB) August 21, 2018
Cognition® Corporation, a software company specializing in medical device compliance and commercialization, has just released a new paper discussing systems engineering for non-profit projects leveraging the Cockpit® platform.
Written and presented by Dr. Mario Kossmann, ESEP at the 28th Annual INCOSE International Symposium, the paper describes how his organization—the Mahola Project—is using Cockpit in their systems engineering efforts in Cameroon.
“Dr. Kossmann and the Mahola Project have taken on our Cockpit platform in the development of a healthcare system in Cameroon,” says David Cronin, CEO of Cognition Corporation. “We’re proud to share his paper with the world, and we’re very proud of the work his project has been doing.”
The paper details how the Mahola Project is working to develop a healthcare system in a region of Cameroon with complex health needs and obstacles. Using Cockpit, the project is working towards developing and implementing a healthcare system that can respond to the region’s needs.
“It’s a region with a number of challenges that need to be overcome,” says Mr. Cronin. “Alone, the healthcare infrastructure is a major hurdle they’re starting to work towards overcoming. But there are cultural, economic, organizational, educational, and energy concerns they have to address as well—it can feel like a daunting task.”
“What they’ve been able to accomplish so far is incredible,” adds Mr. Cronin, and Cockpit is very well-aligned to address the needs of Dr. Kossmann and the systems engineers building this healthcare system in Cameroon. We’re excited to see what the Mahola Project has in store for the future.”
