GURUGRAM: Five men have been booked for allegedly attacking a 34-year-old woman inside her home in Gadoli Kalan village on Saturday.
Preeti, a mother of two, in her complaint said, “Around 2.40pm on Saturday, Hemu, along with four others, barged inside my house and dragged me out of the kitchen after tying a dog leash around my neck. They groped me and started hurling abuses at me. As I screamed for help, one of them took out a knife and tried to stab me. I tried to save myself and the knife hit the side of my stomach. They then fled in a Swift that was parked outside my house.”

The woman was taken to the civil hospital where doctors treated her for her wounds and discharged her on Sunday. Preeti, along with her sister-in-law, approached police on Sunday and filed a complaint.

An FIR was registered under sections 323 (causing hurt), 324 (causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 34 (common intention), 452 (house trespassing), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC at Sector 10A police station.

“We are conducting raids to nab Hemu. The reason behind the attack will be clear after his arrest,” said inspector Yashwant Yadav, SHO of Sector 10A police station.
