Nagpur: Visitors at Kaladalan art gallery witnessed classy creations by three renowned painters Arun Morghade, Nana Mishal and Dinanath Padole on Friday. The three-day painting exhibition titled ‘Anadi Kalasrijan’ is being organized by Yashwantrao Chavan Social Forum at Central Museum campus in Civil Lines.
MP Krupal Tumane was the chief guest while senior artist Pramod Ramteke was the guest of honour.

The three versatile painters — Morghade, Mishal and Padole — form a complete package of talent, experience and perspective which were seen in their paintings. All three artistes come from different generations but are connected by their art.

At the age of 93, Morghade is as passionate about his art as a youngster to his work. His paintings on tribals caught everyone’s attention. He has considerable spent time in Jagdalpur, in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, researching about the tribal community. Hence, his paintings beautifully depict the life and culture of the tribals.

Mishal, who has carved a niche by his thumb painting, displayed his abstract creations at the exhibition which moved the audience. His paintings compelled the viewers to stand, stare and get lost in them.

The exhibition also showed the artistic side of politician Padole, a former MLA, who tried something new this time. For the first time he moved on from pen drawing and used colours in his art which impressed the art lovers.

The three-day exhibition which started on Friday is not just an exhibition but an art festival where the artistes will paint live and make commentary on art.On Sunday, Mishal will create a painting on the rhythm of flute.
