IAS, IPS officers donate a day’s salary to Kerala flood victims

Extending helping hands to the people of flood-hit Kerala, the IAS Officers’ Association and the IPS Officers’ Association of Odisha have decided to donate a minimum of one day’s of their members’ salary for the victims.

“The association resolves to contribute a minimum of one day’s salary of its members to the CM Relief Fund of Kerala,” a resolution of the IAS officers’ body read.

The association stands as one with the people of Kerala during this time of crisis and wishes them strength to overcome this tragedy, it added.

In a similar act, members of the IAS Officers’ Association of Andhra Pradesh has also decided to donate their one day’s salary to Kerala.
