NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Board of India (RRB) is conducting the seventh-set of First Stage CBT (Computer Based Test) for Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) and Technician posts today, August 21, 2018.
In the month of August 2018, RRB will conduct 10 examinations for RRB ALP, Technicians recruitment. So far, examinations have been conducted on August 9, 10, 13, 14, 17 and 20. No technical fault has been reported this year in these six computer-based examinations.
Lakhs of candidates from across the country have applied for the RRB ALP and Technicians examination 2018. After August 21, the RRB ALP and Technicians exam will be conducted on August 29, 30 and 31.
The exam is conducted in three shifts - between 10 am to 11 pm, 1 pm to 2 pm, and from 4 pm to 5 pm.
Due to floods in Kerala, the examination of August 17, 20, August 21 has been cancelled in the state.
The exam is of one-hour duration for general candidates, however, visually challenged candidates will get 80-minutes to complete their test.
There will be 75 MCQ in the test paper, each having four options, out of which only one option will be correct. The candidates will have to be careful while selecting the option as there will be a deduction of 1/3 marks on every wrong answer.
