Achievers for Week of Aug. 21

STORM LAKE, Iowa — Krystle Raposa, of Fall River, was named to Buena Vista University's (BVU) Dean's List for terms three and four. Raposa is enrolled in BVU's online programs. Raposa  recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.

 BOSTON — Emmanuel College conferred degrees on the following local students at its 96th commencement:

Paige Cabral of South Dartmouth received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in Health Sciences.

Chuelsia De Carvalho of Fall River received a Bachelor of Arts in a double major of political science with a concentration in international relations and comparative politics and psychology with a concentration in counseling and health.

Katie Ferland of North Dartmouth received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in health sciences. 

Raquel Ferreira of South Dartmouth received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in health sciences. Ferreira graduated cum laude and with distinction in the field of concentration.

Cassey LePage of Somerset received a Bachelor of Science in chemistry.

Marissa Rocha of South Dartmouth received a Bachelor of Science in neuroscience. Rocha graduated summa cum laude.

Megan Rockett of Fall River received a Bachelor of Arts in international studies with a concentration in Sustainability & Global Justice. Rockett graduated cum laude and with distinction in the field of concentration.

Madison Soares of Dartmouth received a Bachelor of Arts in management. Soares graduated magna cum laude and with distinction in the field of concentration.

SPRINGFIELD — Western New England University congratulates the following local students who received their academic degrees:

Megan Bankert of Dighton graduated cum laude with a Doctor of pharmacy.

Jasmin Giguere of Tiverton graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration/management and leadership.

Nicole Rigby of Somerset, has earned a bachelor's of science degree in psychology.

Joel Sodeinde of Dartmouth, has earned a bachelor's of science degree in sociology.

SCHENECTADY, NY — Kiley Adams, of Berkley, graduated from Union College during the college's 224th commencement exercises.  Adams received a Bachelor of Science (biomedical engineering) degree.
