Mumbai: Mikhail Bora brother of Sheena Bora, who was allegedly murdered, in his cross-examination by Indrani Mukerjea’s counsel Advocate Sudeep Pasbola on Monday admitted to having abused his mother on email communication. He said he did it out of frustration because she had stopped his pocket money, however backed tracked this version.
Pasbola asked Mikhail about his reasons for doing so. “What was the reason for abusing Indrani in April 2015? You have called her a ‘b***h’ and threatened her,” Pasbola questioned. Mikhail responded by admitting he did abuse Indrani. “I told her to stop being a b***h, God is watching you, fear that money cannot keep you young and you will be old and helpless.” Mikhail further said, “I abused her because the health of my Nana and Nani was deteriorating, Nobody was helping and therefore out of frustration I abused my mother.”
When Pasbola asked him about the message he sent to Indrani on May 15, 2015, Mikhail admitted, “Yes I had messaged her to remind her I am her son and she had given birth to me since I was in need of help.” Mikhail will be further cross-examined on Tuesday regarding the interview he had given to television news anchor and editor, Arnab Goswami.
