Hotel occupancy in Mysuru, which is usually 50 per cent on week days and 70 per cent during the weekends in July and August, has fallen to 25 per cent on week days and 40 per cent during the weekends, said Mysuru hotel owners association head, Narayangowda. In Kodagu, the district administration has banned all accommodation of tourists in hotels, home stays and resorts till August 31.
