The sugar market witnessed weak trend on Tuesday on higher selling by producers amid routine local and bulk wholesale demand. Naka rates were steady. On Monday 23-25 mills sold about 48, 000 bags at ₹3,000-3,100 for S-grade and ₹3,080-3,180 for M-grade. Freight rates were steady. The Naka delivery rates were: S-grade: ₹3,110-3,200 and M-grade: ₹3,170-3,300.
