UP, Jharkhand mull Shravani Mela Express

Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that a proposal to run a Shravani Mela special train is being considered for the Kanwariyas from Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi is also inclined for the train and in this regard positive response has also come from Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.

Talking directly to Kanwariyas coming to Deoghar through video conferencing from Project building on the occasion of the fourth Somwari (Monday) of the month, the CM said that giving better facilities to Kanwariyas from different states and other countries is the priority of the government. Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Deoghar and Dumka, the District Administration team has worked with the commitment to provide better facilities to kanwariyas.

Das said that in the coming years, Deoghar will be developed as an international cultural tourist destination. Shivlok will be set up at Madarsa ground in Deoghar. Pilgrims will be able to see ‘char dham’ in Shivalok. The airport is also being constructed in Deoghar. By 2019, AIIMS will be established in Deoghar and OPD facility will be launched as well.

During the direct talk, Ramashrya Sharma from Bhabua, Bihar, Sanjeev Das from Siliguri and Sunil Kumar Singh from Chatra shared their experience of Deoghar visit to Chief Minister and appreciated the arrangements. They also said that city bus is a good initiative.
