Vajpayee’s condolence meet at Nehru Stadium

Bhopal: A condolence meeting of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been organized at Motilal Nehru Stadium at 4 pm on August 21. Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Shri mashankar Gupta took stock of the preparations for the condolence meeting. He instructed to complete all preparations in the time limit.

Revenue Minister Gupta instructed to take necessary action with regard to traffic and drinking water arrangement in the condolence meeting. MP Alok Sanjar, MLA Surendra Nath Singh and Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Alok Sharma, Chairperson of Bhopal Development Authority Om Yadav, Chairperson of Mati Kalan Board Ramdayal Prajapati and officials of district and police administration were present on the occasion.

Fund for kin of deceased Rafiq Baig

Bhopal: An assistance amount of Rs one lakh has been approved for the family of deceased journalist Rafiq Baig under Journalist Welfare Assistance Scheme by the Public Relations Department. It may be recalled that journalist Baig died of electrocution sometime back. Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta today reached the deceased journalist’s house and handed over the letter of approval of the assistance amount to his wife.

IGRMS organises Sadbhavana Diwas

Bhopal: On Monday, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya organized the Sadbhavana Diwas at the office premises. The Sadbhavana pledge was administered by Director, IGRMS, Prof Sarit Kumar Chaudhuri. Among others who were present on the occasion were the Joint Director, Dilip Singh, Senior officials and employees. Before administering the pledge, Prof Chaudhri in his speech recalled the various initiatives taken by the late Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi for all round development of the country especially in the fields of Science and Technology and Human Resource Development. He also informed that the Sadbhavana Diwas was observed to promote good will, national integrity and communal harmony among the people of India irrespective of caste, creed and religion.

Indian flag hoisted at  Mount Elbrus-18

Bhopal: It was a proud moment for Madhya Pradesh and country to hoist Indian Flag at Mount Elbrus- 18,511 feet, the highest mountain peak in Europe said Mountaineer of Madhya Pradesh Ratnesh Pandey while speaking with media persons on Monday.

Ratnesh is an Indian mountaineer who has reached the highest mountain peak in Europe- Mount Elbrus, he climbed the peak twice and hoist the tricolor flag in both the eastern and western peaks of Elbrus. He said "I believe that at any point in life, one should follow the principle of 'Never Give Up'. If the desire to do something is strong enough and have faith in thoughts, then the person can complete any of its dreams.”

In this international campaign, the message of 'keep the mountain clean' was given by the social organization and with this the flag of Sports and Youth Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh was hoisted.

Huge Crowd participates in Kalash Yatra

Bhopal: People in huge number took part in Kalash Yatra, Parthiv Shivling Nirman, Maharudrayagya, Maharudrabhishek, Bhajans, Kawad yatra and other activities held under the patronage of Minister for Public Relations Narottam Mishra and under the tutelage of Famous Sant Dev Prabhakar Ji Shastri (Dadda Ji) in Datia from August 13 to 20.

Before the Parthiv Shivling Nirman programme, the Dadarua Sarkar started performing activities related to Parthiv Shivling Niraman after the pooja archana. The Parthiv Shivling Nirman Anushthan took place from the next day. The Shivling Nirman concluded with Ahuti in Rudra Mahayagya today. Representatives of every community, religion and sect participated in the Mahayagya.

Minister Mishra extended greetings and met large number of people on this occasion. Eminent persons Union Minister Uma Bharti, Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sitasaran Sharma, Senior Ministers of Madhya Pradesh Government Rustam Singh, Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya, Maya Singh, Lal Singh Arya, Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Sanjay Pathak, Lalita Yadav, MP Bhagirath Prasad, Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of various Corporations and Boards and MLAs took part constantly in the Anushthan.
