Police in Bihar have detained a local Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader for his alleged involvement in stripping and parading a woman naked on suspicion of murder. The incident took place on Monday in Bihiya town in Bhojpur district.
So far, 13 people, including the RJD leader, have been detained in this case.
The RJD leader is identified as Kishori Yadav. He was reportedly shouting slogans against the administration during the attack.
The incident took place after the body of a 20-year-old man, Bimlesh Sah, was found on railway tracks.

Soon after this, angry locals resorted to widespread violence and held the woman and her family responsible for the murder. The angry mob also set several houses and vehicles on fire.
The protestors also paraded the woman naked and thrashed her in public. Shockingly, this happened in front of policemen who chose to remain passive spectators.
The situation worsened as the body kept lying on the tracks for several hours as the local police and railway police disagreed on jurisdiction.
