Musical concert held at Campion School audi

The Bhopalites witnessed an evening with the melodious old songs in a musical concert ‘Woh Jab Yaad Aaye Bohat Yaad Aaye’ held at Campion School Auditorium here on Sunday.

The concert was organized by M3 Group, Bhopal in the memory of former president Dr Shankar Dayal Sharma. Interestingly, the young singers of Bhopal participated in the musical concert. The singers and musicians including Ashok Singh, Sanjay Sharma, Arvind Dayal Sharma, Purvi Suhas and Aakriti Mehra gave a fabulous performance on stage.

The family members of Shankar Dayal Sharma including Shambhu Dayal Sharma, Ish Dayal Sharma and Somesh Dayal Sharma inaugurated the event.

To begin with the event, the musicians, guests and audience paid a floral tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The singers presented more than 28 old songs before the music lovers of the city. Being the wondrous presentation for the old music lovers, the show evoked a good response. The event began with the song Woh Jab Yaad Aaye Bohat Yaad Aaye and was followed with other Bollywood melodies.

With the presentation of the melodious songs like Yaar Meri Chunari Hai Ghazab, Maine Tere Liye Hi Saat Rang ke Sapne Bune the listeners enjoyed the musical night with a lot of enthusiasm.

The concert featured the songs by the legendary singers of Bollywood like Mohammad Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhonsle, Lata Mangeshkar and even more. The concert took the audience back to the memory lane of old Bollywood musical world.

Notably, the singers were accompanied on the live musical instruments that added more zest to their performance. The audiences were enthralled to watch the show.

 They enjoyed the programme whole heartedly and relived the golden era of Bollywood.
