Four miscreants held for planning burglary

Jehangirabad police have nabbed four miscreants planning burglary near Slaughter house late in the night on Saturday and recovered iron rods and sharp-edged weapons from their possession.

Police said that acting on a tip off regarding four miscreants near Slaughter house a police team was rushed and detained the four and when they searched mobile phones, sharp-edged weapons, iron rods were recovered.

The accused confessed planning burglary. They were identified as Badal Singh (26), Bajandar alias Brijendra Singh (23), Chouhan Singh (20) and Hemant Singh (21) of of Pooja Colony Nishatpura.

SHO Jehangirabad police Anil Vajpayee said that the nabbed accused work as gang and have committed burglary in Ashoka Garden area and other crimes in different areas of the state capital and would be investigated in the further investigation  The gang members were active in crimes like theft and stealing. Nishatpura police would provide details of the nabbed accused.

In the initial investigation police have recovered two mobile phones, one screw driver, one razor, one iron rod and one sharp edge.

Police said that Chouhan Singh was carrying sharp edged weapon while iron rod was recovered from Hemant’s possession. The crime record of the four accused would be searched in the further investigation. The four have been involved in crimes of same nature they were planning but in Jehangirabad police station they were never booked said Jehangirabad police.

After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 401 of the IPC and started further investigation.
